Furthermore, it is a warm and woody mountain lair with a hunting motif theme for the décor that pays homage to mountain life of yesteryear. The design is fashioned from seasoned wood floors and wall panels; sturdy, local artisan furniture, hides and furs incorporated into seating; bespoke armchairs and chandeliers crafted from antlers; a coffee table made from driftwood; pedestals carved from tree trunks; dense chamois sofas around the original stone fireplace and wood chimney. Textiles in green and ochre textiles evoke forest and autumnal tones into the generally neutral palette and the contemporary open-plan living area is adjoined by a generous dining furnished with velvet upholstery chairs. This is open to the kitchen, which has a counter that can be adapted to suit needs for breakfast, snacks or a drinks bar later in the day.  It is a modern, spacious arrangement designed to provide full comfort whilst maintaining a warm and welcoming ambience.

The 7 hearty and curtained bedrooms en suite ooze rustic charm and provide for a capacity of 14 occupants (12 adults and 2 kids). These suites include wood and exposed stone shower or bathroom and these private rooms are spread over all 4 levels of the chalet: ranging from the top floor master suite under the vaulted eaves with access to a private terrace to the 2-bed bunk room on the lowest level. Around the warming glow of the open fireplace, family and friends can gather to socialise for après ski and supper and then later step outside onto the balcony to enjoy a nightcap gazing into the magical moonlight over the snow-capped Alps. Kids will be super happy to snuggle down for the evening in the aptly snug TV area. Next door there is an admirable wellness area provided with hammam and a Jacuzzi for relaxation and private pampering after an active day on the slopes and around the resort.
